Why Metal Casting?
When you learn a new maker skill, you can make lots of things. When you learn a second maker skill, it doesn't double what you can make. It quadruples what you can make. These skills compound exponentially.
Learning new skills, however, can be challenging. Wouldn't it be nice if you can use one skill to learn another?
If you have the skills to use a 3D printer, I can use it to teach you sand casting. That way you aren't stuck only making things in plastic.
Solid metal is stronger, shinier, and can last millennia. Don't believe me? Check out your local museum's bronze age exhibit.
